A hundred years
2027–2126
For 100 years, everyone on Earth is invited to draw how they imagine an alien, and every answer is kept.
How Earth imagines aliens. 2027–2126.
A living time capsule of how we imagine an alien. The intended programme runs from 2027 to 2126: one book each year and a growing archive.
One book a year
The plan is one book each year. Vol. 1 is the 2027 edition, planned for Friday 31 December 2027. Each volume is intended to carry its year: Year 1 of 100, then Year 2 of 100, through to 2126.

Every answer is kept
Every alien has its own number, for good. Every alien is credited: first name, initial, age, place, year.
The drawings are never sold. The Collection can't be bought.
Why a hundred years?
Because it takes that long for a planet to see itself.

What finished looks like
The aim for 31 December 2126 is:
- A hundred volumes exist, one for each year from 2027 to 2126, none skipped.
- Every alien is registered, numbered and credited, and the register is open to anyone.
- The Collection is whole, in one public home: kept together, never sold, never split.
- The archive is readable: every scan opens, and a full set of the hundred books sits in at least one public library.
- The rules are intact, and the people who keep them are in place.
- It is ready to be handed over to the future.
Planned for a hundred years. Built to last a thousand.
